Forget traffic building
Build your site out on a category killer domain that gets loads of natural traffic lol, natural search engine results will follow as long as you keep white hatting.
Start off on the best foot and build from there imo

Its the best possible start but deep linking / backlinks / paid ads / adsense can help too
I know what youre getting at tho
Natural type in targeted traffic is the best
