We've recently had
the 5 number com buyout the 3 letter in buyout the 4 prem letter net buyout
whats the next domain countdown?
heres what my crystal ball says
.in continues to quietly grow in popularity.
I see a lot of movement in the prices of LLN or NLL dot net and .org lately. Seems the average price for those in .com are in the $500 range. And LNL or NLN .com are in the $350 range. Anytime you see prices ticking up for one extension and those prices are sustained then there is activity in the other extensions.
Premium one word coms and nets will continue to rise - a no brainer huh
3 letter coms will consolidate, 3 l nets will drop
Brandable 5Letter .coms will fair well
I see some definite movement on .ES extension TLDs The South Americans are getting online in a big way, I think .es dns with some intrinsic type-in traffic value are definitely going to be a growth area.
Recent news from Russia that their main seach engine "Yandex" has finally started to index IDNs - a massive boost for russian orientated IDNs for sure !
Aside from an occasional good .mobi sale I think this extn is dead in the water .mobi is high risk and a massive factor is that the original 2 yr regs of .mobi are all up for expiry in a few months - expect mass mobi dumping ! with little signs of recovery and a sudden glut of .mobi this extn is going nowhere fast imo
